Huge mp3 site compatible with myspace etc for sale

I am looking to sell my website seen here. The long and short of it is that i have no time to maintain the site anymore, as I have to many sites to keep up with.

The idea of the site is it allows users to search and stream songs from the internet. There is currently 50k songs searchable. It has a playlist function, where you can have your entire playlist converted into html that you can place on your myspace, blog etc. (to see all the features of the site you will need to create a user and pass. takes 2 seconds)

This is a great site which can be marketed to myspace users and artists as most of them are only able to upload 1-4 songs on their myspace accounts.

This script is completely custom and you wont see anything like it. This script is completely custom coded in ASP.NET and uses a MySQL backend. There is a custom backend that parses html pages extracts mp3 links, verifies that they work and extracts ID3 tags and inserts it into the database. It also extracts file size, album, artist, genre, title, comment, total tracks, track number, and year from the id3 tag.

The domain is registered with godaddy, with domain privacy and will expire 3/27/2008.

Assume that there is no revenue or traffic.

right now the site has about 50,000 songs. if you want to add more songs that up to you. i would say 50k is a pretty big size. the idea was to have a part on the site were users could upload songs they have on their computer.

no i dont host them. the site harvests the links.

i wrote an app that verifies automatically, just haven't turned it on since march, also have programs to find mp3's automatically.

 

so then all you do is run the application and everything is automatic? is so thats amazing. sounds like a great idea.

 

I want to make sure I understand how this works.

The database is storing a list of mp3 files that are saved on various other websites. When somebody wants to play a song, the site streams the mp3 file from the source, it doesn't actually store the mp3 files on the server.

Please verify if this is how it works.

Assuming the site functions as I stated above, is it easy to modify the entires in the database?

How hard is it to move the site from one server to another?

How easy is it to change the design of the website?

You said that website owners can use the site to setup a playlist on your website - how do they do that? I didn't see that function listed on the site at all, do you need to be logged in to see that?
