    When you hit frontpage at digg , other people notice your site and many of them blog about it .

    On an average you get around 250 backlinks per story @ Digg when it hits frontpage .

    Depends on your story .
    You sometimes need as much as 200 votes .
    Sometimes it reaches frontpage with just 80 .
