HUGE list of domains deleted tomorrow sorted by rank

I thought some might be interested in a list like this. I wouldn't normally share this info, but there is nothing I really want to backorder, so I decided I may as well share my list. I do not plan on sharing my info daily unless there is an incentive for me to do so (money, trade, etc).

Anyway, the list returns domains expired tomorrow that have an alexa rank. I have scanned through about 25,000 domains today, but if I had a VPS or Dedicated server, I could easily scan through all of them. I am currently using my home internet connection for gathering data, and since I live in a rural area, my internet isn't the fastest around.

Anyways, if you click on the table headings, you can sort by rank, links in, and domain name.

I can also collect Google PageRank info, but i didn't collect it this time as the process takes a little longer on my slow connection. It seems that 99.99% of expired domains seem to lose their PageRank anyways. Only a couple keep it for a reason that I cannot determine.

    Anyways, heres the link:

I forgot to mention.... Many of the domains with a super high rank have a false or fake rank! If you click on the Alexa link and you see another domain as the title of the page, the rank is wrong. I have figured out a way to determine most false ranks in an updated script, but I am not going to rescan all the domains.

Took a look. It looks like that site doesn't do much of anything. Even if there is a site that does something similar, I bet it is paginated to hell. Pagination makes things difficult. As long as my browser doesn't crash, show me everything on one page please!

One domain is going to expire tomorrow. Is this possible that I get that domain automatically once that is expire tomorrow, any auto mechanism. Or I have to wait for expiry and then buy immediately?

Wow, it looks like my host either deleted my database, or made it inaccessible. The databases on my other sites didn't go down, just this one.

Can anyone recommend a good affordable VPS solution? DH is starting to piss me off.

I take that back. My guess is a smart ass here deleted the database probably since my script is insecure.

Your loss not mine. I put it back up for now if it's still of use to anyone.

edit: To whoever deleted the database.... I'd be curious if you could do it now.

What kind of scam/deal/trick/crap are you trying to pull? kraftykids.biz is redirected to Triond.com, and the stats you show for Alexa belong to Triond. I cannot find a kraftykids.biz online, although name.com shows it available.

Are you trying to sell all worthless sites and think the people here don't know better? Think again.

I don't own any of the sites listed. The domains are automatically gathered from a pool.com list. The script scans through the list, and information is automatically gathered from Alexa. Many of the sites that appear to have high ranks have false ranks. I said to be careful in my post above. I have since created a script that can filter most of the false ranks.

if you go to http://alexa.com/siteinfo/kraftykids.biz you will see that the rank is consistent of that on my site. However, on that page, you can see that the site rank is actually mimicking the rank of Tripod.com. I am guessing that the previous owner of kraftykids.biz set up the domain to point to the tripod.com IP address. The same thing goes for many of the sites that appear to have a really high rank. I am not sure exactly how the previous owners did it as I have never tried to spoof an Alexa Rank.

Again, this is a problem with Alexa

I enabled suspicious rank filtering. This should filter out most sites that look like they have a fake rank. You can turn the filter on or off. I think I will create one more public list for domains expiring Friday. If there is enough interest in these lists and an incentive for me to provide them, I can provide them privately on a daily basis. I will trade my daily lists for domains, hosting (VPS?), small donations, etc. Just PM me if interested. I will add much more features (rather than just a simple list) if there is enough interest.

Did you write the script yourself? What is it capable of doing now? Tell me more about the script.

Yes, I wrote it myself. All it does now is get Alexa Page Rank, Links In, and Google PageRank for expiring domains. It displays the results in a sortable table. Right now I only display domains with an Alexa Rank, but I have info stored in a database about every domain deleting. Some domains have a false rank that is very high, so I created a filter that you can turn on or off that filters the domains with suspicious ranks. I'm sure it doesn't filter every domain with a false rank, but it should filter most.

I am not gathering PageRank at the moment because because it slows things down a tiny bit since im doing this on a slow connection. It seems that only a few domains keep a PageRank after they expire anyway. Right now I am working on a feature that displays all one/two word dictionary domains that are going to be deleted. There is a lot more I can do, but right now this project is primarily for my own needs. I may create a permanent service and website if it can become a viable business.

The script takes about a day or so to gather all the information since I am on a slow connection and the fact that I am rate limiting requests.

You can test it out here:
    http://kylesfiles.dreamhosters.com/domains/

There is not much to it at the moment, but it's been a pretty powerful tool for me. I will update the database with domains expiring Friday by tomorrow.

Internet died out last night while scanning domains. I'm not sure if I will have a full list tonight, but there will be more than last time. I'll post a new thread later today.

May I ask what is the purpose of you sharing this script? Surely you can't be just giving something away for nothing..

Yes, right now I am doing it for nothing. I am not sharing the script, I am sharing the information...

I will not share my information to the public after i update the database for domains expiring tomorrow with a rank. I will consider sharing info privately on a daily basis if there are people willing to give me VPS hosting, money, trade, or whatever. If there is enough interest in the info I provide, I will consider setting up a permanent website and service. If there is no interest, I will keep the info to myself.
