you know what would be better than a huge list...a small detailed list that indicates the relative value of each dofollow site. I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time creating links only to find out that google classified one of the sites as a linkfarm and bones my site for it.

Don't worry, Google doesn't just point you out for link farming. There is lot of observation which google applications run through and then finally arrive that a particular site is trying out link farming.
