This should be good. Previously I have promoted the XBox RROD fix and have had an excellent reponse. This is certainly a HOT niche to promote, however as already mentioned it is now saturated beyond belief.
I can't see any reason why the PS3 fix shouldn't do just as well, especially given the much higher value of the PS3 console over the XBox.

 

I totally agree with you. It is a great niche to be promoting in right now, before it ends up too saturated, so to all affiliates JUMP IN NOW!

You make a fair point. I have confused 1 in 4 hops with 1 in 4 answers, which I should know better. But still, it shows that it does convert quite low, which is the main thing. Because on yahoo answers, when I promote other CB products, they don't seem to convert as good as when I promoted my own product. Anyway, thanks for pointing this out.

Hey man completely agree. 1 sale in 4 answers is really good. Usually people chug answers for a week straight to grab a sale.

Yeah, I will admit that the PS3 red/yellow light issue isn't as big as the Xbox 360 issue, BUT this PS3 red/yellow light issue niche hasn't been fully financially harnessed yet, but the xbox 360 rrod niche has! So, there isn't any reason as to why you can't make as much money, if not more!

Yeah, sure I may have launched after you, that's only because I made a prelaunch thread right here on DP, during mid to late October, well before your product was launched I had researched this niche in August and September and began creating this product in early October. I like your attitude as a publisher: re. the email captures etc.. some publishers will try the spin and say it helps conversions for the aff but if you have been in this market for any lenght of time we know thats total BS.. email capture forms help the publisher!!

I would consider an exit pop / splash as if the visitor has visited and then tries to leave then capturing the lead with some type of free info report will not hurt.

BUT: What the hell happend to your boxes?? looks like someone stole a eBox from another site and copied & pasted some tools over the top.

 

He had a PS3 on it and clickbank wouldn't approve the product and now he's just pasted over top of it which looks pretty bad to be honest....was hoping he would redesign the covers.

 

As Terry said, I had no choice, as CB said no copyright images anywhere on the page, including ecovers, even though thousands of other vendors display copyright images all of their pages. But I guess I am also just protecting affiliates (unlike other zynga products)!

I will look into an exit splash. Do you know any good ones for me?

ok cool, thanks for the update, dont forget to notify me when your vids are ready as i think this is a major selling point over other pubs i see in this niche, plus ur an Aussie and although I'm technically a kiwi living in Sydney we gotta support the Anzacs right.

As for the the exit splash, there a few around, I wil try and dig up some I have on my HD its just most of mine were plugins for WP but they are easily found on some Javascript sites.

If you were looking at an easier alternative to Photoshop which has a steep learning curve and is expensive then I'd recommend 3D Boxshot which is a raytracing program, no photoshop required and kicks ass, of course if your a PS expert then dont worry maybe simpler to buy some action scripts.

thats a joke Cb targeted you on the PS3 img's, I see them all over the place, but yes that box needs a little work.

Sorry for bringing up a rather old thread/bumping it (this is for mods), but I really have to tell all my affiliates something:

I have discovered a new 'subniche' for the PS3 Yellow/Red Light problem. And that is the "PS3 Red Screen of Death". I have added this to the pitch page.

There is NO Competition and NO articles made for this. I even haven't written any articles on the subject. The amount of searches is quite low, but still this niche is very good to add on to the current niche.

Not only this, the gravity is rising, and I have many happy customers. I have also revised the pitch page and added a video to it, as well as re-writing the copy/sales letter, so the conversions should increase also.
