Blogring.net is the largest Xanga and blogging community on the planet. It offers the most extensive collection of Xanga themes and scripts, and provides a giant community of users to discuss anything on the face of the earth.

The site has a myspace themes section which is kicking off slowly. Someone familiar with myspace codes and layouts should be able to take this site to the next level. Xanga is loosing popularity and Myspace is exploding. For me personally, the inability to make this transition from Xanga to Myspace properly is the reason I'm putting this site for sale.

first of all, you cant use YPN and Adsense on the same site. second, i have seen all your screenshots and there is very much variation in all these. One day you are earning 45 USD from 43000 impressions and the next day your earnings are just 2.37 USD from 7000 impressions. lols. where are the balance impressions buddy? you must be having some hidden things as far as your site is concerned. i certainly disagree to all your stats and if you are earning 2500 USD a month then u mus tnot sell your site.
I consider this a cheat on the part of some serious buyer.

vandematrum, re your first point, you are allowed to use YPN and Adsense on the same site - just not on the same pages.

Have a couple of offers in the $20-21k range I'm considering. One slightly lower offer is coming from a party who specializes in reviving big forums which are lacking in activity.

In the mean time, me and a few Admins from another board I run are making an attempt to revive the forums ourselves.

Serious bidders are free to chat with me over IM to get a more complete picture of the site's past and present activity levels and what sort of things can and are being done to get it back to it's 3,000 posts/day level.

 

Is the IPB license included? I see it's a registered 1.3 version; you still have access to the admin panel for higher version downloads?

 

Was talking to one of my admins and he pointed out that the IPB version being used is very old and easily hackable. Upgrading to the latest version (at whatever cost) is something we have planned as part of our latest campaign. This should be done by us before the site changes hands, if a sale doesn't occur in the next couple of days.

 

Setting BIN to $22,000. Have one buyer interested at $21,000, but for some reason we're having 24 hour gaps between every private message.

Activity is back up to 814 new posts in the last 24 hours. As for earnings, the site made $41 yesterday also, using Adsense along with one ringtones conversion from Thumbplay.

Adsense impressions yesterday were 40,000

So, still taking offers. BIN is reduced to $22,000 for a quick sale.
