Huge drop of blogspot web sites

I just noticed huge drop of majority of my blogspot websites. For instance
for certain keyword that I was ranked number 1 for more than 6 months, today I'm ranked around number 70 and this is not the single case. Did anyone from you noticed the same problem?

It was happened with my case but not that much effected and only fifty percent of above said.

usually, i gets 400+ ips from google search, but today, i got only 200, that's strange...

I've been going nuts over the last 15 hrs or so. I check my rankings very often to see how they fluctuate. I checked my ranking for a certain keyword for my blog yesterday myspacetrends.blogspot.com around 3:00pm, and I was #1 for a few keywords (I've been #1-#4 for over a year now on these words). I checked again around 5:00pm, and all of a sudden my blog was GONE from rankings. I don't even mean dropped a few, but GONE. Not even in the first 10 pages. I still show up for other keywords, but the main ones I've SEOed for are not ranked.

I have NO IDEA what is going on, but the revenue I made from the blog is dropped drastically, so I hope this is just a mistake.

Also, it seems many people are posting similar problems in Google Groups.

 

It looks like we're all in deep sh*t! I hope this is just temporary.

All is fine in my case..Its quality and relevance of content..If your article is good one..It will continue to be at same position..

 

can i just ask.. how do you search your "keyword" for your site?
to see how it ranks..?

check webmaster tool and robot.txt. Are you noticing any error there? post here.

 

I see no change in my blogspot blogs.

You could try adding some more blog pots over the next few days and see if that helps. You could also begin building more backlinks by socially bookmarking the new posts and see if that makes a difference to your rankings.

Same problem with my blog too. Traffic fell within one night from 2500 to 500 UV. Google has stopped sending traffic to blogspot blogs. But Yahoo is sending the same traffic.
Does anyone knows the problem.

 

With so much spammers abusing the blogspot service, it's not a big surprise actually.

 

Everyone shouldn't be penalized for the spammers though.

Throughout the day I've already heard of over 20 legit blogger blogs that have dropped serious rankings overnight. I wish Google could just inform us as to what's going on.

 

yep definitely down between 20 and 60 points across the board.
