Huge Drop in traffic, is it because...

    Today on google anaylitics I showed a huge drop in traffic from all sources, it seemed very strange. I though maybe my site had gone offline but I also remembered that I added the www. version of my site to google webmaster tools. Would this cause it to only show traffic to one of the 2 domains?

    If so how do I fix it? I guess i'm not 100% sure this is what happened but I doubt my traffic would drop 60% randomly.

    I think i figured out the problem, I was showing today's traffic level. Usually it only shows the last full day. I'm stupid, LOL.
