Huge drop in ECPM (pic) Your thoughts?

There was a huge drop in ECPM or average pay per click in my Adsense earnings, where 98% comes from only one website.

Except for that $193 day most days had about the same number of clicks.

These are the last days of August and my first two September days are about the same...

End of summer? Publishers out of budget? Labor day?

    Your thoughts?

:D hehe I draw that picture, yea I noticed the drop too and it is too much sometimes 60 clicks for 3 bucks I better go with adbrite and label the ads as
"click me", I think google will start losing publishers so soon, and advertisers started to get so mean and cheap too ...

Is that your ePCM or your actual earnings? If so thats amazing, nice keyword you have! *waits for everyone to ask what it is* lol.

My ePCM would be lucky to hit $15. My earnings are up today though. Mondays seem good for me usually double my earnings over my average on mondays.

Check out a few of the sites that are advertising on your pages (don't click your ads obviously, just goto the urls manually) See if any of them are just directory listings, or pre-filled in search results. If they are, they are likely low-paying and should be filtered. Classic MFA.

    Adpubster...good call. I haven't done that in a while :-/

Have used http://www.adsblacklist.com/ for a bit but wasnt patient enough to do it manually all the time. I think they have an auto feature now so I will look into it.

Anyway, this Saturday is Adsense optimization day...going to do some section targeting and some MFA busting.

    Happy Weekend!
