Huge Drop In AdSense's eCPM?

    Hi,

Over the last few days, I've noticed a huge drop in my AdSense earnings. I used to get about $0.15 per click but now I barely get $0.04 per click and even lots of $0.01 clicks.

There's been no change at all on my website. I used to make about $15.00 a day but now I make between $3.50 to $6.00 while I still get the same amount of clicks everyday.

    What's happening?

    Thank you!
    Stephane

P.S. Don't worry, I know it's my first post so I'll take care of presenting myself in another thread within the next hour or so.

I've been having the same problem though with a less pronounced drop.

Did you filter MFA sites in your Adsense control panel? Maybe this is the problem

MFA: MADE FOR ADSENSE, these are site done 100% for earn with Adsense, these sites are without content, or they get content from other sites. They buy Adwords very very cheap :)

Here there is a site that can help you to filter and know about

You are not the only one.
It's been happening to many webmasters. The earnings have gone since last year. I believe it is a general trend.

Yeah but it dropped dramatically since last week!

    If this keeps going, I'll make $100 - $150 a month instead of $400 - $450!!!

You might have been smartpriced, or a major advertiser might have pulled out of adwords.

I don't think it's related to a major advertiser pulling out. Why? Because my website uses like 7 or 8 subdomains (categories), each containing different content. Ads displayed in each of those categories are really different. As my earnings dropped for each categories, I highly doubt it's due to a major advertiser pulling.

By the way, what do you mean by smartpriced?
