Huge difference between google analytics and statcounter results, why?

On my new forum I have inserted google analytics code and also statcounter code (for unique visits only).

Yesterday I DIGG a post and got total 9 diggs, in the result I got good number of visitors. My forum showing I had maximum 190 visitors online

Most users ever online was 190 on 09 Sep 2008 02:36

the statcounter counter also showing the increment, last night when I went to sleep the total number of visitors were 315, but in the morning it is showing 580 - means it is counting the visitors came from digg and other sources..

But when I check google analytics it is showing that I had only 37 visitors

    How is it possible?

How can two programs show same results (my forum software + statcounter) and google is showing totally different result?

I think I should believe in statcounter cause I noticed it is too accurate and counting only human visitors, not robots and others.

What do you say which one is right, statcounter or GA?
