You must be referring to where McCain tried to make the ridiculous comparison to WWII, and Godwinned the entire debate? Yea, there were a lot of boos at him.
smatts, he's starting to raise money. There is a small grass roots effort behind him. After each debate, he continues to raise more and more. fletch - that could have been one instance that RP was booed (nearly) off stage. Seems like every debate, he takes a ridiculing from the audience.
I'm talking about McCain. McCain was booed tremendously for his comparison, but also got some positive response. Paul was also booed for suggesting we give the Iraqis back their country, but also got a positive response too. Nobody won that particular battle.
I was talking about paul getting booed again. Was McCain booed, or was there booing during an exchange between them?
The booing began as soon as McCain mentioned WWII, and increased tremendously as he made the comparison to Hitler. I watched the clip over again a few times to confirm this. That is not to say people did not also boo Paul, because it would be dishonest to say that it did not happen. But at least from my perspective and watching the replay a few times, it's pretty clear they both got some flak and some applause for the exchange.
Actually, McCain blamed America in that debate. Then he flip flopped. Then he compared anti-war Americans to Hitler enablers. He's wrong of course, but it exposes him as the idiot he is. Hitler was the one practicing pre-emptive war against Poland that led to the beginning of WWII. Hitler was the interventionist.
