So are there guys for real http://www.mikehuckabeeforum.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=ae517fb1bc9e67f24ec4386b6220e495
Looks like it is full of ron paul supporters pretending to be christians, so many of the posts I read on one thread seemed so phony, it reminds me of that church parody site. I will have to see you owns the name of that site now. Actually after ready a little more I know this is run as a parody (well not really a parody, but as a way of confusing people.) Is this your site? edit: hmmm, wonder why the privacy on the domain name? lol
Not my site. Someone seems to be a step ahead of me. Maybe the same guys as made this: http://fredthompsonforum.com/
I've stumbled across these forums before and became greatly confused - Like "These people can't be for real" and sure enough they are not. I wonder how many Huckabee/Thompson supporters come across these forums and don't realize it's satire? The thing that makes it so easy to satire these people (neocons/christian right) is how absolutely outrageous some of the stuff they really say is. I mean after you watch Bible Camp it's sort of hard to imagine what these folks wouldn't say. That's why it's easy to blend and bend reality there. I love the idea actually, great stuff. I wish I had thought of it first. Maybe I could make one for Rudy Giuliani.
Even the people on biblecamp were not even close to what is being posted. That is why it is obvious it is a fake, because you can see the ignorance in the writing. Sad thing is people like briant probably don't know how different a Christian is from what these people are trying to make one out to be. I have yet to meet one Christian that is even close to what one of those posters thinks they are.
I think it's taken care of: http://rudygiulianiforum.com/ (BTW, they argue about infractions there too: http://rudygiulianiforum.com/showthread.php?t=152) Oh yeah, the joys of Bible Camp. With the emphasis clearly on Camp (Actually Jesus Camp) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CgvgjfwyPs Anyone know what she means when she says to put some "wabisabi" on Bush. I may have misheard her because I think that's a type of sauce
Grim, I usually respect your posts, but if you are this ignoranct about Christians you may not want to post anything else until you actually learn about Christianity and not by people who set up this site either.
Debunked, my post was not against Christians. I do not consider the radicals who would consider those posts on that forum to be real 'true Christians'
I still think it is a misconception that there are more than a handful of nuts who would consider those posts to be real in the first place. From people who post on this forum I get grouped with those radicals because I am a Christian, and they assume all Christians are like that. I still have yet to meet one person who would be even close to being as radical as that site would make Christians out to be.
Ron Paul is a Christian. He just doesn't seem to go for the hucksterism: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CHb8CWw-Q4
How pathetic to see how many members these forums have like the one for Giuliani. 113 members! Whoohoo! you go Rudy. HAHAHAA ronpaulforums.com Threads: 53,986, Posts: 657,661, Members: 10,327, Active Members: 6,114 http://rudygiulianiforum.com/ Threads: 191, Posts: 1,482, Members: 113, Active Members: 113 http://fredthompsonforum.com/ Threads: 2,407, Posts: 22,547, Members: 3,057, Active Members: 3,057
You know what is pathetic? someone who 'read' the thread but still compares a real forum to parody forums....... I would bet that a huge percentage of the parody forum posters are from the one real forum, how pathetic would that be. This is the kind of stuff that makes me question Ron Paul's support base.
A typical Giuliani speech: "9/11, 9/11 [insert word] here9/11, 9,11,9/11 terrorist, 9/11, 9/11, 9/11 [insert word] here9/11, 9,11,9/11 terrorist, 9/11, 9/11, 9/11 [insert word] here9/11, 9,11,9/11 terrorist, 9/11, 9/11, 9/11 [insert word] here9/11, 9,11,9/11 terrorist, 9/11, 9/11, 9/11 [insert word] here9/11, 9,11,9/11 terrorist, 9/11, 9/11, 9/11 [insert word] here9/11, 9,11,9/11 terrorist, 9/11" 9/11 keyword density 80% terrorist keyword density 10% attack keyword density 10%
So do you doubt the cool $18-1/2 Mill he has raised so far too? Must be hackers injecting his campaign with fake money.
Yeah, and Giuliani rubbing his hands together in glee. That was a nice touch. BTW, it looks like he's officially done: http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Scarborough_slams_Rudys_new_Xmas_political_1219.html
That is good news. I hope he is done. Personally though, I don't have too much of a problem with the commercial ~ it shows a sense of humor. I just think Ron Paul would be a much better choice. The Mike Huckabee forums may be satire. But sadly they represent many of Huckabee's beliefs. Anyone who says christians are not like that has not met a fundamentalist christian.
