only the ones Alex Jones tells him too....I love how this thread has:

A: taken Huck's comments out of context
B: has the same old "Miserable Failure Bush" line from AGS
C: Has someone who talks about "Faux News"
D: presents us with the idea that RP supporters actually think and have common sense...

yet this is in almost every thread around here.

Appears to be pretty spot on...
However I will be the first to admit some think and have more common sense than others, they are not all the same.

If someone is weak enough to change there vote because of what someone urges thats pretty bad. I think everyone should judge from themselves whats right or wrong. its easy and accurate. :)

like a good RP follower, you are trying to change the subject of the thread, mainly because you can't dispute the facts of the OP's post. Stay on topic.

d16, You say he was quoted out of context. What is the context?

The man clearly said he wants to amend the constitution to be more like christian principles. regardless of his reasons the very idea that American law should be based on religious teachings, ethics or scripture is unconstitutional and violates the separation of church and state.

He could make the changes and amendments, But basing those changes on "gods standards" isn't allowed.

You don't expect d16man to have read the US constitution do you? The only thing he probably reads is sweet 16 magazine just like his screen name d16man. He needs to go and discuss matters about Britney Spears and leave all others until he is of age.

I am not a Huckebee supportor or fan. But I would have to agree strongly with the last part of the statement though.

Changing the Constitution should be based on prinicple and the right thing to do for the betterment of the society as a whole. But Gods rules will never change for the betterment of those who disagree. I would think God would be great in a Political debate wouldnt you think? Who would win out of the three:
    God
    Constitutional Lawyers
    Politicians

What about those who do not believe in God? Do you just ignore they exist and leave them out of the process? As I've said before we are not a Theocracy!

God and the constitution are two different things. But many people need to understand that the constitution was not set up just for those who didnt believe in the main religion. It was set up as an umbrella to cover the masses, those who believe in god or not. One side vs the other in believing in God is not the real issue in regards to the constitution. It is set up to protect both sides and should recognize both beliefs.

My little world is at least a whole lot bigger than yours. I'm not suprised with comments like this coming from someone like you, than again you still believe that Faux News is a media outlet. Your state of denial is right up there next to that of Gtech.

Main religion? What are you talking about. Did you not take history lessons in high school? America is a metling pot, so picking just one religion as a main religion would make us no different than Iran. Some people never seize to amaze me.

Dont be deameaning and condescending now. You asked me a question and I answered. BTW - read the Constitution, you cant find the word God in it, other than the protection of religion. So there is no "Main" religion reference made by me. So it you have no religious beliefs, I do believe the umbrella of protection of not believing covers you as well.

I apologize. I think we are talking about the same thing. I do believe that the US constitution does protect ALL religious beliefs, and it should not be amended or changed.
