    Hi guys

I have around 35 hubpages that I built up last month and want to reciprocate similar effort in Squidoo. If I just copy and paste the texts form hubpages to squidoo and then add on the required links … do you think I may be penalised for duplicate content?

Thanks in advance folks! this forum is so educative!

No... you will not be penalised as in this scenario there is no penalty for duplicate content.... it's a myth that many people still pass on but it does not exist.

With that said; There are many things that might affect the ranking of your hub/lens.... its NOT hard to change the order and a few lines of text on either to make give it a unique edge. You shouldnt rely on "respun" content, nor should you reciprocate each and every article you write. You'll do fine remaking them on squidoo; if you get a moment or two, mix a couple of them up for best results.

You will be penalized if you post them as it is. If you spin them, then make sure its detailed, else I have personally seen google not ranking those duplicate content.

Even if you don´t get penalised you would be better off spinning them a little - people searching for a particular subject will just leave if they´ve already seen your content.
