Hi, i have read one article about hubpages. It's written that hubpages is another good promotional tool, particularly if our hubpage is named as one of the flagships there. It's true or not? Share your opinions here...
It's basically an advertisement for your site. But what if very few are going there? You now have two places, your hub and site you have to promote. Common sense dictates to drop the hub, but so many don't have the common sense God gave a goat to do this.
It makes for a lousy promotional tool. However... if you write a decent article, and the link to your site is not the only place you're trying to send your reader, then it will do well. Confused? HubPages doesn't allow overly promotional hubs. So if a persons only intention is to stuff a hub full of keywords to attract the search engines and the only link/s is to your site, then the hub will most likely be flagged and removed, either by their filters or by a human. On the other hand if you're a writer it's a great place to use to publish articles, and make money from it. But you confuse the purpose of a Flagship Hub. You don't have an existing hub chosen. After you've applied to be able to choose from the Flagship Hub Topic Pool you can choose from the list and write a hub. Then before you publish they have a look at it and see if it's up to their specifications. For that you get US$25 (+ a $10 bonus if you can get 10 visitors from 10 different sources) AND you still get 60% of the pageviews for your Adsense Publisher ID and Amazon Associates and Ebay Affiliate Ads.
