in he same way you market on any article sharing website you can always have link banks to your content
i've used it as well as many other social sites in the past..you'll get a little link juice from it but my results from hubpages weren't too great.
It's good for traffic and to diversify your backlink sources. Your hub score needs to be above a certain level to make the links do follow.
of course, If you would like to share your ideas, Make Money Online or write about a topic your passionate about , HubPages is the perfect place to begin.
First off -don't make it obvious that you're using Hubpages to promote your site. Make it more about them and less about you. Trust me, them Hubbers are pretty savvy, they catch on pretty quick. It's best to become an authority figure in your specific niche by sharing your knowledge through hubs and answering questions in the forums. Make sure you create a great bio, and let them know your expertise and websites. Once people get to know you, then Hubbers will know you're the go-to-person for your niche, and you'll get traffic by word of mouth and many new followers. BTW, hubs rank pretty well in the serps too!
hubpages and squidoo it's a great way to get higher pr and higher rank on google . sometimes you don't need to do some seo or link building google loves squidoo
You can still use hubpages but don't let that be you main money site.. You can post an article on there and direct it back to you main website.. hubpages doesn't alloq you to use affiliate links and don't make your hub too commercial they don't like that (expierence)..
If your hub is too short and is only created for the purpose of linking to your site - it won't get approved most of the times. You need to create a very high quality hub to make it work. Too much work if you ask me just for a single backlink. Squidoo is even worse.
I just use it for backlinks. They will delete spamming looking hubs though. They will also delete hubs that have lots of spammy links pointing at them.
Hubpages is great if you can get your Hubpage approved and is one of those Web 2.0 propoerties like Squidoo the search engines love
Hubpages is one of the best WEB 2.0 websites. You can generate decent traffic using it. Create unique articles (word count : 800/1200, keyword rich) put your affiliate, website, blog links and ping it two times a week. Do the same with Squidoo pages. You will get good results. I know guys out there getting 400 to 800 visitors using these methods.
