I tried to earn via squidoo and hubpages.. it takes much time to write unique content for them but till now - no results.
Yes I have tried to earn some money through the hubpages but I did not get any income till date but I am trying my best techniques to get some more money.
In Hubpages, there are many members but they do not take any interest in your articles, since they're themselves there to worry and earn from their articles! So you write unique articles there, you get backlinks, you drive traffic into your own Hubs. On top of that, all the ads shown aren't yours. Hubpages show their ads alongside yours. Did you ever check how many ads are yours and how many are their ads? Get a check today and you'll know why your earnings are low In Hubpages, maybe visitors are clicking ads, but its sheer luck, if its their ads they're earning, not you!
Hubpages sucks. I research my articles thoroughly put them on HP, with a good picture, and haven't made a dime. I rewrite the same article and host it on Bukisa and get between $1-4 a day, everyday from them. It's not much, but I didn't put much time into it. Effort yes, but not time. Now those articles are earning me passive income so I can focus on other things. My thoughts are that HubPages' ad placement sucks, they skim viewers (Google Analytics tells a different story) and that they just collect your profit. They also don't allow promotional articles, which is lame because a cleverly worded article can drive more sales, clicks and higher paying adverts.
HubPages is a website designed around sharing advertising revenue for high-quality, user-generated content. The interface allows members to create individual pages on specific topics. HubPages differs from many other revenue-sharing sites by using the Google AdSense API to manage the revenue split with writers
I don't use hubpages. I have used them in the past. I don't like writing articles for adsense clicks. I think articles should be more focused on generating traffic to your website to either build a list or sell products. People are clicking on advertisements less and less these days. Therefore, it's a better idea to use article sites for generating traffic to an online business.
If you really put the work into writing good articles and promoting them then you can earn some money with Hubpages and Squidoo. I've had better luck with Squidoo, but it's really up to personal preference.
I've never earned anything from Hubpages, personally use it solely to get backlinks to my main sites.
Earning with hubs and squidoo takes time, it's just like if you build many niche sites and put up adsense. You have to do the work and market them, but personally I only use hubs and squidoo lenses to build backlinks to my sites if I earn few cents then great if not no big deal.
hub pages is useless in every respect i feel. They are only promoting their own site- hub pages and contributor is hardly benefited except some clicks.
I don't think so hubpages is a good place to earn money. Try other like squidoo, or just create a site for affiliate marketing.
