Freaking Hubpages......I had a personal score of 88 which gives me do follow links. Over the weekend i dropped to a 66? I'm guessing I put too many links in my last hub. So now how do I do damage control? Even if I remove the links will my score ever get back to where it was....or should I just shine it on and start a new profile?

I'm sorry my friend. The same thing happened to me. I recommend that you start a new profile.

How about posting more informative articles without any links first just to get your personal score up? I don't really like hubpages much, I only used it for a few month and quit. Squidoo is far much better.

Well I started off with article with one or 2 links. Then on the last one I put a few links in the link section...well that did it! My score plummeted. So yes I will start a new profile now! Yeah Hubpages is a real pain in the keester.

As others will tell you... try Squidoo as an alternative. As soon as your Squidoo lens becomes "featured" (more than 3 modules, quality content, ect) all links turn to DO FOLLOW. The best part... there are no limits to "self-serving" links within your lens.

Useful to me - I've heard of HubPages - now I'll check it out.

I got a warming from them because was considered too commercial vs. informative.

first of all, to keep your score that high, you need to maintain your page. Add it to groups, dir and do some promotion. Join fanclubs and comment on other's pages. Get good traffic to your page and you are good to go :). And now back to your question, you need not create a new account. I suggest you use max of 2 links on your page and fill it with useful info. All you need to know is that the score will never remain the same unless or until you maintain/polish the pages :)
