    HubPages is basically a form of article submission website. They call it hubs. Where users write various content related to topics they know of.
    Unlike traditional article directories, HubPages has a social media element where your hubs actually get monitored and you can promote individual hubs to increase traffic.
    They also allow you to use your Adsense code to use money - a good substitute for folks who don't want to create a website.
    Further you can also add friends, follow other people's hubs and even comment on them.
    Its a full on community.

    RitePad is a new website where you can submit articles. They give you 80% of the total adsense ad impressions generated on your articles. You can also post two backlinks to your blogs if you write a post of at least 300 words on RitePad. The posts can be shorter than 300 words but short posts can't have any backlinks.
