I've posted this at a few forums, guess I can keep you all in the loop as well...

I've been posting a blog of sorts at another forum on my overall experience with targetedvisitors.info, I'll post the updates here FYI:

Alright, keep posted. I sent off for the $1.95 1k hits. Not expecting success from it but figured it's only $1.95 I'll let you know how it goes 16th May 2006, 10:54 PM

As of yet, still waiting on it to go live. I go see the campaign setup, but still in the pending status. I figured it would be crap traffic, but it's only $1.95. Yesterday, 12:24 PM

Well, I officially hit the 24 hour mark with a big fat nada. No activity thus far. In ther defense, the site does say 1-2 business days. Yesterday, 07:12 PM

Well, as of 7 p.m. central time it will be 48 hours with no response. Will post again this afternoon on any response. Today, 02:40 PM

Well, I'm past the 48 hour mark so I'm guessing either the people who run the site are not keeping their word on the turn around, or they are complete scam artist. Fortunately, I've only been scammed(so far it appears) out of $1.95. I'll post back tomorrow. Today, 08:59 PM

Well, still nothing. Had to send them an e-mail and try to get the ball rolling. Certainly was hoping to avoid having to do this. I'll let ya'll know if and when I get a response. Today, 07:09 AM

E-mail sent this morning, still no response. Will give them a few more days before I declare it a poorly run site, or possibly a scam. 3 days down, beyond the 2 advertised on the site, 0 response from e-mails. Will keep you posted! Today, 05:05 PM

If thats the one I'm thinking of (there are 2 with similar names) it's run by a guy very well known in the industry. I bought a campaign about a year ago and although it was slow to get started and I had the same concerns you did - the traffic did come through. I would give it a couple more days.

http://www.targetedvisitors.info putting a live link in the post so maybe he will see it and reply.

It appears that after I sent a complaint for a refund through Paypal, the campaign suddenly began. About 20 hits into it now. Will update everyone on the outcome, sales and Adsense clicks.

I have done business with Targeted Visitors .info before, I purchased two targeted 10,000 visitor campaigns and the results were ass. I got no clicks, just traffic really. It was like getting hits to your website: the visitors did not read my site nor join my forum I was promoting.

    My results were not good!

The traffic was very likely faked.

Starting to think the same here...traffic all comes from the same IP address and getting nothing from it.

I'm wondering whether this is yet another scam.

    I've signed up with these people/or guy, and;
    - got no confirmation email at all, not even in the SPAM folder
    - sent them a couple of emails, I know he even got them, because I got a receipt returned. He's simply not answering, which to me is the worst thing a company can do if they don't want to shatter their reputation!
    - I'll be waiting until I can file a claim with PayPal

anyone else any good traffic building plans they can recommend for our new Australian Search Engine? http://www.clickfind.com.au

Real shame, I was looking forward to build up some of that internet traffic.

    Thanks in advance.

I think that is all BOT traffic and from PTR sites which is all junk and just leeches your bandwidth.
