    looks very nice, I really like the design.

    about NEWS FLASH, isn't it working, I see nothing there

    and the following:
    "We're Looking For Writers" and "Changed Look", I'd suggest having a border there.

    Is the design from a template? it feels like that... I am not sure but I think it is. If it is not, you did a great job there

    Yeah it's a template. No way I could do that by myself :-p

    you know, you can reach the set goals by editing the template. You could try fining nice colors for the CSS and then changing the images. go to templatemonster and get some ideas.

    Every time I am working on a new design I go there, search for unique sites and then start my work, thus I have the idea and a goal for myself.

    When I started to make the dsigns myself I used templates all the time, then I decided to look over the existing design and now, I have my own idea that is approved by many people:
