    Hi

I was checking my stats this morning and found that http://www.ebayloans.net/ebl.htm had basically taken a complete copy of my site, added their own adsense ads on it nad published it to the net.

Everything on the site is mine, they didnt even bother to remove the copied from code in the html.

This is the original site: http://www.mortgage.webseo.com.au
This is the copy of my site: http://www.ebayloans.net/ebl.htm

The question i have is, how do I report this guy to Google, so they deactivate his account. I am being robbed. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how do you protect yourself against it?

    Thanks

ouch, sorry to hear about that.

Anyway, Im not too sure on a solution, but im sure contacting her/his hosting may help, also writing a fancy legal e-mail regarding your copyrighted content would be useful.

Soryy I cant be of more help

submit a DCMA to his/her hosting provider. if the company is reputable then they will question and temp disable and you will have to provide proof.

A DCMA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act) letter is the correct action to take. This is a letter to the host indicating according to the DCMA, the host must not continue to host the site because its content includes stolen copyrighted information. A simple letter can be very effective.

If you would like further free legal advice, please contact me at www.lawrefs.com. If you are in Michigan, I would be happy to write the letter for you for $75.00.

    Sincerely,
