HTTP vs HTTPS in Webmaster tools - which one I should choose for my site?

Hello. The question is pretty straight forward.
I have added my website in Google Search console (former Webmaster tools), and I have it both HTTP and HTTPS, but I don't know which one should I choose for my primary and which data should I look.

My site is not SSL secured (yet), but when I enter it in the browser it loads both ways: with HTTP as well as HTTPS. Also www and non www.

And thus I'm quite confused of which stats and data to look for in WMT. I have submitted sitemap files for both HTTP and HTTPS, but not for www versions. For the www versions I have just verified the ownership of the sites.

Interesting is also that when I do a google search for the domain: site: domain.com
it shows me indexed URLs of my site that are both http and https which gets me even quite more confused.
    SEMrush
What is best practise in that case when my website is not SSL secured, should I focus more on the HTTP version data and stats, should I delete the sitemap files from the HTTPS version in that case, what other changes I need to make in the console so my website function properly and is easy to find from Google thus ranking better.

    Thanks a lot.

Well you say you are confused but I am confused with your query now.

What exactly is your site url? And why do have http and https both versions? Whether you have it or don't?

If it's not internet secure yet then it should be http://

Remove your duplicate https:// site from the WB tools.

Once you change it to SSL, you should update it to https://

I submitted all http and https as well as www and non-www in WMT because I watched a video where they advised to have verified ownership of all versions of my site in WMT. I'm more concerned about the sitemap files: should I have it on all 4 versions or only on the main one.

my sites are those: http://savetizasreshti.com and http://novapsihologiq.com

Small niched blogs on a local language.

For getting HTTPS for your website you have to purchase SSL certification. It means your website is secured and Google prefers now HTTPS for security, till now it is not a direct parameter for ranking but indirect parameter for getting good ranking. So, go for HTTPS and in webmaster mention it.

You should verify all versions of your site in Google Search Console.

www, non-www, http, and https (if you're using SSL)

You should use the one that your site redirects to.

You need to make sure all versions redirect to the same site. So test http, https, www and non-www and make sure they go to the same place. Then you can start troubleshooting your issues.

HTTPS is more secured rather HTTP, and it would also help you site to stay in good standing with Google.

The www version goes to the Not secure http address. When I enter the domain with https it still loads.
    * I do this by entering the domain in incognito window in Chrome browser. Is that what it should be like?
