ok. So. If I link to one page with the href "http://www.bluewidgets.com/sweetest-blue-widgets-ever.html" and i link to the same page from somewhere else, only make it secure and use "https://www.bluewidgets.com/sweetest-blue-widgets-ever.html" will Google see it as the same page or will it see it as two different pages like it would for http://www.domain.com and http://domain.com?
I'm actually not sure yet...... I haven't studied it much..... I do remember when page rank would n't be assigned to an https page, and now Pagerank does show on those pages...... I really woudl guess that it should not make a difference.... Google has been long time trying to fix the http:// and http://www problem.... I would imagine they have already thought about this iin great detail.... My guess is that it wouldn't make a difference.. Butu none of my sites are secure via https, so I am really not sure.
Different pages. Protocols are different. Moreover, "https://" page is most likely not going to be indexed by Google.
Google does index "https" http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:www.google.com/adsense&btnG=Search May be only index one https or http.
Google will see them as different pages, and also assign different PR values to them depending on whats linking to the http or https
