Not much to review so I guess I will review the fonts and colors of the fonts. eh... Nice choice of colors, I like the blue.

Kinda looks like DIGG to be honest. Try changing up the design a little to make it more unique. Add more content as the site looks "bare".

I guess this could work better on some custom made script, a forum based selling place will not work as good as some more developed auction place for websites flipping.

Well.. digital point works because it's a flexible place to sell sites, site point was also like this before flippa.

That's the sort of thing that we would also like to see over there.

    :)

theme and font are not good. the actual content doesnt catch your attention and all other stuff does. it should be the reverse.

Well.. where is your http://freeflippa.com idea site?

What happened and why do you think it didn't succeeded?

Good ideas come about all the time, it gives a lot more work to make them have success.

Great -- except you're using Flippa in your domain name, a direct trademark violation.
Can't really get any closer towards a lawsuit and your bound to get one because SitePoint is one of the largest businesses in the industry. Great competition that can be shut down by the competitor at their discretion.

Yes, I've been approached directly by Dave Slutzkin, the owner of http://flippa.com last week about this matter.

There won't be any lawsuit and http://freeflippa.com can remain active, no problem from his side.

    :)

design looks very basic... needs some individuality adding... the logo looks plain - try something a little curvier - as most sites seem to be going this design route at the moment...?

You need to experiment with some colors and designs. Also their is a domain and website marketplace out called flippa.com, it is the sitepoint marketplace 2.0. Your domain seems like a rip off flippa.com which has the same idea.
