Some guy just sent me a message asking me to post on this forum:
<Live link removed even though I posted a warning first>
It's a replica of DP! Is this a scam? Will they steal your details if you join?

    Very confusing.

The user that is sending these is: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=274365

By looking at his profile, he's sending the message to multiple people.

Do not click any links in that PM.
In all likelihood it is an attempt to steal your details.
If you get any more PMs like this forward them to a moderator.

Please people, don't post a live link to the phishing site. Just like what others said, next time you just need to forward the PM to one of the mods without the need to create a thread on this matter.

Mods is not online everytime because we're all in different time zone. Be patient and they will do their job once they're online.

No, i'm not doing them a job...i'm not linking them to the log-in page so they can't really get our details. I also did post a warning before the link ;)

A suggestion to fight against them: Don't let new users send PM's until they get a certain amount of posts? That would crack down on scammers / hackers.

As everyone said, simply forward your PM's, I would say it was better with a screenshot, to any of the moderator. Once they come online, they shall take care of it.

Never, under any circumstances (warning or not), should you post a spammer's or phisher's links live on the site. Always forward them to a moderator, and when we get the PM, we'll deal with it. And please, never click a link in any PM from a member you don't know personally without first checking it on mouseover.
