    What if you have several people asking you the same question in a PM? Are you allowed to post again (not two in a row) and just clarify things for everybody so they stop asking you the same questions?

    The right thing to do is to think things through carefully before making the initial post. Bumping isn't allowed, even if people are asking questions privately. You decide what to tell them up front. If you don't include something, and miss the 8-hour editing window, you just have to deal with the PMs. Otherwise, we'd just end up with people leaving out specific details on purpose, so they'd have an excuse to bump it later.
