I have kind of asked this in another post, but thought it would be better as a new thread. What is the best place to learn HTML5. MY school is not even teaching it yet. I want to know if what I have spent the last year learning is going to become obsolete or if I can transfer the skills. Does the DIV structure still apply. Should I waite to upgrade for version 6 of ADOBE? I know they are working on conversions for flash dreamweaver and their other programs for html5 now.
No worries! HTML5 is backwards compatible, so you can definitely use what you have learned. Actually, a few minor bits got the boot but they will not be missed. W3C - HTML5 Obsolete Features
Does that mean though that the basic Div structure is OK. Abosolute or relative? I prefer relative as there are different size monitors?
Would be cool if someone posted an eBook on html5 with tutorials and new features. I'd even pay for it lol.
This is almost like an eBook, just without the page breaks. No PDF so looks like we have to fork out for the printed version http://diveintohtml5.org/
