    For a sales page of one of my clients I am using paypal gateway.
    Everything has been tested in sandbox mode + we did some real payments as well.
    All seem to work fine except the subscriptions go to expired status automatically without the buyer manually cancelling the subscription.

    In the payment screen we do see charge $0.29 for every 24 months. The payment gets debited from the paypal account but its not set to recur.

    a3=0.29&p3=24&t3=M

    My query is does paypal automatically sets a subscription to expired status if a small amount like this is used?

    We used such a small amount only for testing when we go live the pricing will be around $50 plus.
