HTML to Wordpress. Will it cause any SEO problem????

    I have a static site built using dreamweaver. Its a PR3 site and getting some keyword traffic.

    Will changing This static Html site to a wordpress blog cause any problems to my page rank.

    Plz advise me...

    if you transfer across pagenames, titles, navigation and content, and configure wordpress properly it might even be stronger in the serp.

    if you change pagenames make sure every old page is 301d to a new one, otherwise you will lose that pages strength.

    i did this 3-4months ago

    it took about 1month to get the whole site moved over from Google.

    I had ot put a 301 redirect for EVERY link to the new link.

    for example

    /healthrisks.html had to be directed to /health-risks

    yes it will effect ur pr ranking and backlinks. but u can set redirect url so u willnot lose ur visitors but ranking will be
