HTML special character coding

    Hi,

    I'm trying to find a list of special characters encoded in HTML as:

    "
    ¼
    Ã

    stuff like that.

    I'd like to replace them with the corresponding ascii character (or the closest to it).

    I found this table: tntluoma.com/sidebars/codes/ ... but... Im guessing there should be a tool to deal with such characters (mapping).
