Convert your static website into wordpress CMS. Worpdress CMS is easy to manage back and and easy to manage pages, content, navigation etc. You can easily implement SEO plugins, social icons etc.

Wordpress, I believe, is the better solution; I conducted research as part of an information systems module for a BIS degree, the findings concluded that Wordpress is an excellent choice as a web content management system. W3Tech, an organisation that conducts web technology surveys, also reported in 2011 that Wordpress is the most widely used web content management system. (W3Tech 2011)

    Issues Faced by Organisations:

    • Vast amount of online data is difficult to maintain and distribute efficiently
    • Complex workflows specific to each organisation
    • Small organisations may not have IT developers at hand to develop and maintain a web site
    Benefits to the Organisation

    • Wordpress is the most popular WCMS
    • Wordpress is free and widely maintained
    • Wordpress has a reputation for developing simple and stable code,
    • Installation is simple and quickly installed
    • The Dashboard allows non IT literate to deploy web sites rather than employing expensive web developers
    • Wordpress provides Web Content Management System (WCMS) features
    • Wordpress can be used by both small and large organisations; being able to extend functionally hiring developers to align Wordpress against the organisation’s workflows

Hello I am fairly new to wordpress, But yes I think word press would be something that will make it easier for a lot of people who are just starting out in forums or websites will be able to see how a website/forum works but at the same time they will not have to learn everything in order to be able to develope a basic website/forum.I am trying to learn more about wordpress can anyone with more experiance explain why they may think that the html may be better for websites or forums then wordpress.

Thing is, that WordPress has a few SEO important things sorted for you automatically: eg sitemap generator (plugin needed), RSS feeds, good url structures, etc.
It takes some work to have those things sorted manually. So, often choosing WordPress just safes time...

I think that is you're really good at HTML, then a HTML website can look better and be better than a Wordpress one. But using Wordpress makes it much easier.

Wordpress for sure. Easy, SEO friendly, highly supported, loads of plugins. Just set a redirect up all your sub pages as the extension will probably change from www.domain.com/page.html to www.domain.com/page/. Although you can use permalinks to configure the pages the same.

In General sense, both are complimentary objects, but if we see as a HTML Websites & Wordpress Websites, then obvious, Wordpress website is much better as its ways to handling it, posting content & managing contact forms!

HTML site and Wordpress can not be computed . we can create word press blog by using a software but HTML sites created itself both have their own benefit. Its not so straight forward as which gets better results for seo. Both can rank very well based on how they are optimized. you can have a great looking wordpress site that is set up for great seo that can easily out rank a poorly optimized HTML site and vice versa.

If you have the skills HTML will be better, but if you don't and are not interested in developing them, you should stick to Wordpress.

I believe that wordpress is much more effective because fully optimized platform is self tested back and has alot of plugins to enhance a websites performance while in HTMl you have to code everything by ourself which is very complex and require lot of work.

If you are building a site yourself the the pros would probably go to wordpress as it comes with a basic set up and easy plugins to get seo friendly right away like wordpress because it is a content management system. I like the benefits of the back-end database approach to web development. Wordpress is great if you want to update content on regular basis.

If you don't keep your Wordpress install up yo date then you'll take an Seo hit.

Google monitors the version of Wordpress you use and gives a webmaster tools alert if its out of date.

Wordpress has lots of option to make a website SEO friendly without any big SEO knowledge but the problem is it can over complicate some very simple website for which simple html layouts and features are more than enough.

So I would suggest you to to be stick to html in case you are only going to have simple pages.

In case if you are planing to make your website grow rapidly(in terms of content and layout/design feature) in the future than moving to wordpress can benefit you.Because you have the option to have a generalized SEO for your entire website rather than applying on-page seo tips to each and every html pages individually.

I think you have to manually convert your static HTML sites to wordpress or get some help from people who have experience doing this kind of job.

Starded working with wordpress few months ago (have always made HTML websites) - I don't believe the platform you work with has influence on your ranking. I prefer HTML above Wordpress for sure, however just make sure you have a good page-load and that your website is fully optimized. Check your websites on http://gtmetrix.com for guidance.

It is a matter of safety, if you do not update the website as often as it will be safest not to use wordpress.
