    In my opinion .Php extension is the best option.But you can use .html extension also.because .html extension is easy to use.

    AND IT KEEPS GETTING WORSE!!! My god... There needs to be a stupid penalty that subtracts posts that are dumb, ignorant and or spam. This way those trying to pad post count HAVE to, at a minimum, use some portions of brain power...

    Much like @ethikz ==> LOL = WOW!

    You're right. The three of us could carry on this conversation and others would post around us as if we weren't even here.

    Lol this is a brilliant topic.

    Hmm, lets see...if your building a site that actually uses PHP than use .php, if your content is static than use .html...

    If you are using any dynamic php scripts then .php extension is much suitable than using .html

    If you need to find comparisons then you shouldn't be coding for the web. Find another job.

    I can't believe this thread is still going...its really not that difficult.

    If you are actually PROGRAMMING WITH PHP you HAVE to use .PHP for the server to execute the script.
    You can't PROGRAM in HTML since it's only a markup language.

    I can see it now, half the people on this thread have .PHP files with only HTML tags in it
