Hi, I'm looking for a PHP easy to setup and free mailing list. I've used PHPlist and it's um, not really to my liking.

Can anyone recommend to me a good one?

    Thanks

You pay for what you get..

Why don't you pay out some money and get a PHP developer to code you one?

Different people mean different things by the term "mailing list". What functionality are you looking for?

Thanks, probably more of a Newsletter type mailer. People can signup and then I create an HTML page which then gets sent out by email.

You probably won't find any really good open source versions of what youre looking for but I may very well be wrong.

The next question is what is the O/S of your mail server? We have recently switched from Majordomo to Mailman on our FreeBSD/Apache/Sendmail server. Both are open source and will do much more than just newsletter lists, but can be setup for that.

If you want to do it from a Windows desktop you can buy G-Lock EasyMail for $99.00. It has a database and a very easy import function although I'm sure it isn't php.
