HTML is messed up!

Hey guys, I am pounding my head against the desk on this one guys. I was helping a friend and adding some pictures to this site. Anyway, the pictures in IE only show the top and not the entire pic.

When I look at it in Firefox, however, it looks fine.

Could someone take a quick look at the page and hopefully lend me a helping hand on this one?

    Thanks guys!

Well I didn't actually look at the code, but when I passed your site through the validator you get 21 errors, and the majority of the errors were because of unclosed <img /> tags.

I would suggest that you fix the validation errors and hopefully this will solve your problem.

Not only closing your img tags but if you list the images in the html, also include the width and height.

<img class="pictureProfile" src="images/contacts/trinaB.jpg" alt="Trina Bediako Welcomes You to New Horizons!" title="Trina Bediako Welcomes You to New Horizons!" width="133" height="100" />

The alt tag may appear as spam to a SEO since you have the same text in the title, it may hurt with your site's placement, you might shorten it considerably. The alt tag is required but not the same purpose as a title. The title will work fine.

Well, I am told that the picture that should be showing on the right side of the page are showing at the bottom when you view it with IE6, does anyone have IE6 that could check this for me?

    Hi:
Please add here the code for review. Without seeing - it is hard to suggest.

The alt and title are different. They each have their own purpose. The alt is or should be considered mandatory with all img elements in an html. Title is another story and doesn't need to be used.

    -------------------
    Their purposes:

"alt" attribute tells the reader what is missing on a page if the browser can't load images. The browser will then display the alternate text instead.

"Title" is like a tool tip text. The text will display as a tool tip when moused over.
