Yeah I have just downloaded this one. I'm trying to find my old one that I used to use however since it's been a couple years and my old computer is now broke I cannot seem to remember what it was called.

I am sure it was one the lines of Notpad Pro or something like that.

Yes, agreed, NotePad++ is great. On Linux I use vi and Kate. In fact, I don't think I've found anything as good as Kate so far for Windows. (Well, Kate can b installed on Windows, but requires KDE for Windows.)

I remember using HTML-Kit (for Windows) many years ago and it was good for the time, but I don't know about today's requirements.

Dreamweaver is the most advance product on the market. One of the features that separates Dreamweaver from most other web editors - is it templates functionality. This make designing and maintaining websites are simpler task. Template also allows locking of design so that web-editors don't have to bother about that - or worry about messing up the site.

The best editor is Sublime Text 2, but it's not free.

IIRC, Textpad (that's what I may not recall properly - which other free editor) is about the same as Notepad++, but has the added feature of regex finds.

Easy, yes, but it produces terrible, bloated code that's not compatible with any browser.

Still notepad after all these years. But for more hand-holding you can use Dreamweaver.
