Html, change backgroung picture in website

    Hi,
    I am using HTML and I would like picture in background be changing every few secound for other, similar when u using flash. Is it possible? THanks!

    You need jQuery for this, search for the method "delay" in the api of jQuery.

    Yes you can use Flash but you can also use JavaScript

    Thank you for info! I am going to try it, hope gonna work. Just one more thing if I add flash, I will lose google position in searching, isnt it?

    No, you will not... your HTML page still have the same meta tags, she is the same one, you just inport a svf, like any other component...

    Check out the bgStretcher jQuery plugin. Very pleasing effect and looks easy to use.

    No, you really don't need to learn Flash as has already been explained by previous posters.

    I just thought I would put in a mention for Backstretch/ which was mentioned in a post on webappers.com/ today.

    Hi Jonnyewing,
    Thank you for your help. I did like you said and it works perfectly,but this is slightly different thing what I looking for. Maybe you know how to do this. I start looking for the jQuery plugin and I find this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goRHLuH2QBA&feature=relmfu in the end of the clip you can see result which i looking forward. I did like he explain but didnt work, this is to difficult for me........ Yours was much easier copy add the names of the image and is ready.

    It is possible but I fear not in HTML as HTML means your site pages are static, hence I would recommend you to change over to PHP make your pages dynamic and you can have this

    We can even get you a solution wherein you can choose the pictures from the admin panel set them and time them up so that the picture changes when you want them to

    THis could be good idea, but I dont know using PHP, I just know use very litle HTML like you can see on my website.... So to be honest i look something simple, to make my website looks litle better. Thank you.

    you can probably find a javascript code for that. javascript can do miracles. but it's probably harder to find an easy-to-understand explanation.
