I want to write a general html book(Yes I know there are lots, but I feel at 15 and already 5 years ox EXP, it would be a good accomplishment, I'm already writing up tutorials, and posting them on a forum I go on. I'm like a teacher so I'm teaching a class.) But I don't know where to start. Like, how would I start this. Is there software I need. How do I publish it, and all that good stuff. I want it to just be a reference book. Like general terms, and like different things html can do, and software. I also want to include a disk if possible of software to use that's free. Do I need permission to do that if the ware is free, and legally free? How much is this going to cost me,...please just fill me in.

you need to write a few chapters of the manuscript and then give it to a publisher to consider.

So do I send him the whole book? what about cover art...I'm cluse less on this. Ive did a little research, but nothing has helped. I've made websites, and forums, but book writing is a whole new thing for me. I do know HTML and that's all I'm sure about lol.

You might be better off selling them as eBooks.

I am sure getting a book printed, and published is very costly and time consuming.

You would be able to set up your own website. Sell it there. Don't sell resale rights with the eBook so people cannot resell it. There are more ways then eBooks to sell "books/guides" online.

If I had a server that would be logical lol. I don't have the money for a server...well I do, just to cheap to fork out the money, and don't have a card and such. I been looking for someone who would give me free space if I could help with their hosting, or what ever. I would also place a "hosted for free by link to site" in the footer. I have a John Cena site I have sitting on my desk top right now that I can't finish until I get a server. I was getting one for free but the place closed down. I was helping him so I got unlimited for free.

I guess an e-book since it will be free to do, and I wont have to hire an agent, and illustrator or what ever those "bookie" terms are lol.

I never would of thought it would be so different...Talking aobut this makes me feel dumb :p....I been programming since I was 10, and now I'm 15. I know html, and css although I don't know how to apply and change it in html(working on that) I'm also trying to learn JavaScript. But this book thing has been on my mind now for like 5 months, and feel that I could really help people in getting a decent start at programming.
