HTML and Wordpress question

    I used to design my own templates for blogger using html css.

    But now i wanted to move to my own domain / server, and decided to use wordpress as the platform.

    Just before i get down to it, is the wordpress templates coding the same as those i used for my old blogger ones?

    Not precisely the same. To get an idea of the code that's used, you should just download a simple one and dissect it
