Nothing special.... replace <div id="DivID"> with <divID> and some code for embedding video and sound (neither of which I think I have ever done on any website I have been involved in)

The other aspect of cause is that using .Net I really dont write that much HMTL anyway as it heavily uses .Net controls which it renders into HMTL

Estimates are that it will be around ten years before it is available to the Web authoring community in usable form.

I think it looks worse than HTML 4...
The way it is being made is only for a specific type of layout.. but with divisions and your own id's you are able to create much more customisable pages

Well, that's just a small preview. I don't think it's going to be ten years either.

I think it will help newbs etc, but others may be annoyed if and when it changes.

Yes, that may very well be -- last year in his Blog Ian Hickson was estimating HTML 5 would not be available in usable form until 2022 -- I think he is much more optimistic now.

    Just for general information:
    W3C HTML5 Working Draft
WHATWG HTML5 Working Draft (Companion to the W3C iteration)

Change in things like this is usually taken badly by people already using previous versions, but it'll still be useful to learn.
