HTM(L) page problem with Microsoft Excel 2007

    HTM(L) page problem with Microsoft Excel 2007.

    Hi, till now I was getting data in Excel 2007 from this website(Official Indian Stock Market website): (Old site) (Please remove spaces from website address) >> www. nseindia. com/content/equities/NiftySecuritiesTop. htm << which is now old website and they made a new website for the same data and that website is: (New site) >> www. nseindia. com/live_market/dynaContent/live_analysis/top_gainers_losers. htm?cat=G << Now my problem is that, I am not able to retrieve/get data from new site into Excel 2007.

    FYI: This way I am getting data in Excel 2007 > Data > Get External Data > From Web : Insert website address in "Address" bar then press "Go" tab, once website opens then press "Import" tab to get data into sheet.

    I have Windows Vista Home Basic Service Pack 2, 32bit.

    Old site is giving data into Excel 2007 but New site is not giving data, can anyone Help with this issue?

    Hi,

    After pressing GO tab and once website opens then before clicking on Import you have to select the table as well from the website otherwise it will import only blank data.

    xtrashots9, Not able to select anything! I think selection is not allowed. As I mentioned in my first post, the old website still imports data without selection but new website is importing only blank data!!!
