.htaccess

Hi there

I have no clue of using .htaccess so I ordered a guy to do this for me.
He did a great job and really solved my problem professionally.

The site he secured is one of my standard wordpress installations.

I now want to know: If the folder system is the same as my other sites - can I use this .htaccess on all of my other sites or can this make troubles? If I backup the original file and setup the new file and it fails should I see it with failures like "permission denied" on my site?

 

You should be able to use the file as long as it doesnt interfere with any custom wordpress plugin.

If you paste the htacess file and the site, works you should be good to go.

You could also post your htaccess here and remove any sensible/confidential data for better advice.

i now used this file for about 25 blogs that i manage with infinite wp

The problems are:
1 blog cant load its theme - seems to be because this value is missing php_value memory_limit 256M
10 blogs cant login anymore from infinite wp directly - i have to login manually

what could be the reason?
