.htaccess suddenly not working

Hi,


I have a website where I use mod_rewrites via a .htaccess file. I had it all setup a while back and everything was working but I checked today to add some extra stuff and realised none of it is working. The thing is I checked my other sites which run under the same account and their mod_rewrites seem to be working fine, which leads me to believe that the problem lies in my .htaccess file.

I was wondering if anyone could see anything wrong with it? And if not then what could the problem be?

check errors?

same permissions as other sites?

confirm changes? timestamps?

 

Thanks for your reply, but I found the problem which was that there was a duplicate copy of the .htaccess file in another directory... A stupid mistake on my part...
