.HTACCESS RewriteEngine Rule - is that ok to use with ZenCart?

    Hi Guys,

    just wondering if i use the rewrite engines rule to make the urls more seo frienldy will that be ok to use with zencart? also is there a limit to the size of the .htaccess file?

    I want to update each link to something like this.

    RewriteRule ^privacy-policy$ index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=73&products_id=285#itemlist? [NC]

    would that work??

    if it ends up around 80-90kb is that ok or not?

    Best to ask on the zencart forum they're the experts. I think there are some free addons available that will do this for you. Having said this been using zencart for the past 8 years with out seo urls and never had problems getting my site ranked.
