I have my site hosted with 1&1 and I am useing joomla cms. Not being very clued up on htacess/php.ini file I have been trying to make changes with the htacess file with no luck. Tried to make a php.ini file but only seamed to work when I placed it directly in folder and not the root, so its confusing. Just tried to adjust the file upload size using the ht file, but just got an internal error 500. It was just an experiment to see if I can get the change to work, I placed the following into the ht file php_value post_max_size "10M" php_value upload_max_filesize "10M" May be the problem is because of where I placed it I don't know. I have looked at the official php website but I am still confused , advice much appreciated.
