http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4026021/remove-php-extension-with-htaccess Your question should be moved to http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=49
I can't understand, why you will remove /index.php ? If you removed / it will server like http://domain.comindex.php instead of http://domain.com/index.php. Are you looking like FancyIndexing ??
no, removing /index.php would look like http://domain.com rather then http://domain.com/index.php CSM was right, i just had to fix up a different part of my .htaccess.
The main choices are mod_rewrite or multiviews. The apache documentation under 'Content Negotiation' is relevant and interesting too.
