.htaccess on ssl not working

Hi I have used ErrorDocument with success on my site, my problem is when i try its use within the secure area of my site(ssl using https://vault2.secured-url.com/mysite/ the errors do not register. my hosting company is streamline.net. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have been trawling Digital point and google all day with no joy,

ok, what does the line say in htaccess?

 

htaccess only work on root domain. Buy own ssl certificate for your domain to work .htaccess
