.htaccess of domain to folder

Hey folks,

A newbie question. I want to redirect domain.com to domain.com/folder/

Can anyone tell me the code to place in my .htaccess?

Also, there is a bunch of existing codes within my .htaccess. So do I just stick the codes at the end of the existing codes?
