    Please help me converting the following htaccess rewrite code to
    lighttpd.conf .I tried few conversions on my own but was of no help. :(

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1 [L]
    Code (markup):

    I will be very thankful if someone can convert this code so I can use it with lighttpd

    My memory on Lighttpd is a little rusty but I think it's something like this:
    url.rewrite-once = ( "^/(.*)$" => "index.php/$1" )
    Code (markup):
    Docs here: http://redmine.lighttpd.net/wiki/lighttpd/Docs:ModRewrite

    Apparently there's something called mod_magnet for Lighttpd that allows you to implement rewrite conditions however the recommendation is to implement this in your application rather than in your configuration file.

    Other people with the same problem (who got recommended mod_magnet)
